Do you need more content but can’t keep up with the demand? Maybe you aren’t a skilled writer, or maybe your plate is just full.
Business owners, nonprofit organizers, creatives—there are all kinds of people who are pressed for time. Yet, that doesn’t reduce the need for fresh content.
Audiences look to your blog, website and social media during their buyer journey. Even if they plan to visit you in person, the majority of customers will still look at your website to research your company, products, services or pricing before they do.
Content can help with local marketing, increasing your indexed pages for SEO and providing your audience with information they need to make an informed purchase decision.

Finding a Freelance Writer
We know how hard it can be to find a reliable and skilled writer who understands your content needs. For nearly a decade, Alethea has been writing for clients like you. After working on many content mill platforms, she branched out to independent clients.
You don’t have to deal with the expenses of a platform membership when you work with an individual writer.
And hiring a freelancer is also a lot cheaper than hiring an in-house writing team in most cases.
Midwest Inbound is here to help you navigate your content needs. You get to work directly with the writer (Alethea) without any bs platform restrictions in the way.
How Does Ghostwriting Work?
When you hire a freelance writer, you own all of the content. Once you’ve ordered, paid and received the content, you can make changes and publish it however you see fit.
Midwest Inbound sells you the full rights to the work, allowing you to claim the content as your own. No byline needed. There are also package options if you want to use Alethea as a named contributor with a byline.
You have complete control over the copy once it is in your hands. Down the road, you can make updates or return and order a content refresher by Alethea.
During the ghostwriting process, you can be as hands-on or hands-off as you want. Some clients like to be part of the brainstorming process, giving titles, keywords and examples. Other clients don’t have time for ideation. How much help you need impacts the pricing for your content.
How Much Does a Freelance Writer Cost?
Our content pricing starts at $.15 per word. However, this will change based on your needs. Sourcing images, conducting extensive research and auditing your content to help with your content marketing strategy are examples of things that will change the cost.
Some projects are quoted at a flat fee when that benefits the client. For example, video scripts are best condensed, and the client would not benefit from a price-per-word structure that encourages higher word counts.
All projects will be outlined and agreed on before work starts. If the scope of the project has to change, the rate will increase to cover the additional work.
Creating a Solid Relationship with a Freelance Writer
Alethea is skilled at creating strong working relationships with her clients. Most client relationships are done virtually via quick messages. She has never talked to 90% of her clients in person, on the phone or on video chat (though that is an option!).
So much of the world interacts virtually now. Why not hire a remote freelance writer?
